Lakeland Walking Breaks, walking breaks in the Lake District

View from Latterbarrow

Find Accommodation

Latterbarrow is a low peak with superb views situated close to the village of High Wray.

This is the perfect "get away from it all" low walk. Latterbarrow is well under 1,000 feet high so not difficult to climb, but the reward for your efforts will equal that of many of the region's higher peaks. On a clear day the view stretches to Yorkshire in the east, with clear views of Fairfield to the North, the Langdale Pikes to the North West and the Coniston fells.

The flat top of Latterbarrow makes it ideal for a summer picnic.
